God has uniquely gifted every believer with talents that can be used to serve others. Whether your skills include carpentry, automotive repair, plumbing, electrical work, landscaping, hospitality, administration, or simply a willing heart, there is a place for you to serve.
Our Local Support Team exists to meet practical needs throughout the Lynchburg community by assisting individuals and families who are unable to complete projects on their own due to age, disability, financial hardship, or unexpected circumstances.
Throughout the year, our church receives requests for assistance with yard work, minor home repairs, accessibility projects, moving assistance, and other practical needs. By serving together, we demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways while building relationships that open doors to share the Gospel.
Opportunities to serve include:
- Yard work and landscaping
- Minor home repairs
- Wheelchair ramp construction
- Basic automotive assistance
- Moving assistance
- Home maintenance projects
- Hospitality and volunteer support
- Prayer and encouragement visits
